Voyant Chai Liqueur

Well, Foods Discovered is on a great roll, but lets mix it up a little and add a little "spirit" to the food. Spirits, I mean.

Sure, it takes great food to make an unforgettable dining experience, but a real dining memory is not quite complete without a great cocktail or two...right?

VoyantWe received a great looking bottle of Voyant Chai to review. The bottle was colored in shades of orange, and had a contemporary, somewhat middle-eastern look to it. We were excited to explore!

Imported from Holland, Voyant Chai is a cream liqueur with a blend of complex premium ingredients. 4 year Aged Virgin Island Rum, fresh Dutch Cream, naturally brewed Black Tea from India, pure vanilla, and a distinctive blend of spices from Asia. Worldly, huh?

The aroma is pungent, with hints of rich vanilla and exotic spices, such as cinnamon and cardamom. The consistency is similar to other cream liqueurs, such as Bailey's Irish Cream, although not quite as thick. Creamier, smoother.

If you visit Voyant's website they offer some really creative recipes. Here are some of our favorites:

Chaitini

3 oz Voyant Chai Cream Liqueur Splash of Vanilla Vodka 1 oz Coffee Liqueur

Combine ingredients over ice in a shaker and shake well. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a few coffee beans. Voyant Chai Cream Liqueur Jagermeister Coke or Root Beer

V-56 Float

In a tall soda glass filled with ice, add in equal parts Voyant and Jagermeister and then top off with Coke (or Root Beer).Use a spoon to mix well and then top off with 1-scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream. Serve with a straw and enjoy.

No need to head to Starbuck's for my favorite Chai Latte any longer...I've discovered Voyant Chai, the world's first Chai Liqueur. It's a great discovery, a great liqueur...one we know you will want to try for yourself! Visit Voyant Chai.
